On Saturday 17th March 2018 we held our 5th AGM since starting to fundraise for our incredible immunotherapy research team in Guildford, Surrey UK.
Over the last 12 months we have managed to assist with the BCG partnership with a team in Germany £40k, cover maintenance cost on one piece of equipment £5.5K, help with scientists employment costs £32.5k, consumables £20k and repairs to an essential machine £27k among others.
We moved our Bookham local support group back into the village and launched a new one in Guildford with rebranding as ToC Together. After several years trying to find the right venue we partnered with TurnFit Studios in Guildford to open weekly exercise classes as ToC Fit and are already considering a 2nd class due to demand.
We were approached by cancer patients who have been singing for 3 years in a local choir that is threatened with closure and have agreed to continue them as ToC Voices. All this is only possible with your support so please visit our website and donate as the pressure for funding and support is only growing. One major future project on bladder cancer will cost around £250k over 3 years and our new PhD student is £90k over 3 years apart from our usual requests.
